Complete Price Transparency
Costs are shown on our training pages for courses held at VPT site only, prices for on-site training will be different so please contact us for accurate pricing.
The cost for group booking will most probably be cheaper.
How long does excavator training take?
Excavator Training can take up to 10 days, at VPT we deliver 1-on-1 360 Excavator Training over 5 days giving the candidate 100% of the practical time on the machine. We have found this to be the best way to train the candidates and our 5 star Google Reviews shows this.
Can training be delivered at our site?
Yes, we have our training centre in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, however our qualified instructors travel throughout the UK to deliver training or testing at our customers sites.
Do I need previous experience?
No, we offer complete novice training for candidates with no experience, however some site experience is an advantage but not a necessity.
Which is Better – NPORS or CPCS?
Both are the same, NPORS and CPCS both carry the CSCS logo and should be accepted on all sites. We only offer the NPORS Training though.
NPORS vs CPCS – What’s the Difference?
NPORS is more flexible as training and testing can be carried out on customers sites whereas CPCS must be completed at a training centre. Operators who have completed both say that NPORS is more flexible and generally cheaper to achieve your card.
